Jesus’ final words to His followers were not a suggestion, they were a commission. And if they were His last words, they should be our first priority.
This commission from Jesus begins with us. Before we can lead someone else, we must first become disciples ourselves.

After you have completed Fresh Start, take the next step of obedience by publicly declaring your faith in Jesus. Baptism is a powerful outward expression of the inward transformation that has begun in your life.

Strong Disciples Pathway
After completing Fresh Start and Water Baptisms, Strong Disciples is the pathway that helps bring you to maturity in your faith. Through 8 weeks of intentional teaching and coaching, your attitudes, character, and values are shaped and aligned with the truth of God’s Word as you grow into a disciple who makes disciples.

Fresh Start is our entry point into discipleship: a welcoming, small and safe weekly group where you can belong, ask questions, learn God’s Word and grow in your relationship with Jesus. A team of Godly trained leaders and coaches will prayerfully walk alongside you as you become established in your faith journey.

What Is Baptism?
Baptism is an outward confession of an inward decision. This is a step of obedience and celebration for every follower of Jesus.
The Bible teaches that we should be baptised in water, and Jesus himself modelled it for us. When we are baptised, we are showing outwardly what God has already done in our hearts.

As a church, we have an unstoppable resolve to see people discipled. It is one of the core mandates of our vision, more people becoming more like Jesus.
Strong Disciples is our discipleship pathway at hm.church. Our Strong Disciples students commit to a discipleship journey designed to help bring them to maturity in their faith. Throughout the journey, attitudes are fine-tuned, character is developed and values are challenged to align with the truth of the Word of God.
What to expect
8 weeks packed with life-changing teaching from our pastors, coupled with practical coaching for relevant application in your life.
Every student attending Strong Disciples is assigned a “coach” throughout each 8 week journey who is committed to see you grow and a “group” that you will do the discipleship journey with.
