The Creative Pastor exists to help more people become more like Jesus by leading the creative ministry of hm.church. The role is responsible for developing leaders, strengthening teams across all aspects of the church’s worship and media ministry, creating environments where people can encounter Jesus and find family at hm.church. The Creative Pastor works closely with the Associate Pastor of Sunday Ministry and wider team to ensure every creative expression reflects the vision, values and culture of hm.church. 

A key focus of the role is developing leaders. The Creative Pastor will coach the Worship Leader and Media Leader, helping them grow spiritually, strengthen their leadership capability and develop healthy, effective teams. The role combines creative direction, communication, leadership development, discipleship, pastoral care and operational oversight. The goal is not simply to produce creative content or strong services, but to build a healthy creative ministry that helps to see more people become more like Jesus.

PART TIME | START OCT ‘26

The Pathways Coach exists to help more people become more like Jesus by leading the discipleship pathways within hm.church and helping people take their next step in following Jesus. The role provides pastoral leadership and oversight of the discipleship pathway at hm.church, creating clear and intentional environments that help people move from first connection through to established discipleship, serving, leadership and multiplication. 

Taking people from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity. The Pathways Coach leads and develops the leaders responsible for Assimilation, Alpha, Fresh Start and Strong Disciples and all other discipleship related courses, events and programs, ensuring these ministries work together as one connected pathway rather than operating as separate programs. A key focus of the role is developing leaders who develop disciples. The Pathways Coach equips, coaches and empowers ministry leaders to create healthy environments where people can encounter Jesus, establish strong foundations, grow in spiritual maturity, discover their purpose and become active participants in the life and mission of the Church. The role combines discipleship leadership, evangelism, pastoral care, leadership development and strategic oversight. Success is not measured simply by participation in pathway programs, but by whether people are taking meaningful next steps, growing in their relationship with Jesus and becoming disciples who make disciples.

The Associate Pastor of People & Discipleship exists to help more people become more like Jesus by leading the people and discipleship ministries of hm.church. The role will help create a church environment where people are known, connected, cared for, discipled and equipped to become more like Jesus. The role provides pastoral leadership and strategic oversight across the people and discipleship ministries of hm.church, including Pathways, Connect Groups, Pastoral Care, Generations, and Community & Missions. 

Working closely with the Senior Pastor and wider pastoral leadership team, the Associate Pastor of People & Discipleship develops and empowers ministry leaders, strengthens discipleship pathways and Connect Groups and helps establish a healthy culture where people can encounter Jesus, grow in faith, discover purpose and participate in the life and mission of the Church. Taking people from spiritual infancy to spiritual maturity.

A key focus of the role is developing leaders who develop people. The Associate Pastor equips, coaches and empowers ministry leaders to lead healthy teams and create effective ministry environments. The role combines pastoral leadership, discipleship, leadership development, strategic planning and oversight. Success is not measured simply by the number of programs or ministry activities delivered, but by whether people are growing in their relationship with Jesus, leaders are being developed, and the culture of hm.church is becoming increasingly healthy and discipleship-focused.
